John was inducted as minister in Ballysally church-extension congregation in 1996 and was called to stay on as the first minister of the new congregation of Ballysally in 2007. John is married to Lynn and they have a daughter Hollie, a son Jonathan, a daughter-in-law Danielle and two granddaughters, Duskie and Flynn. John loves football and rugby (watching now rather than playing!) and still enthusiastically supports his boyhood team Glentoran.

He wants to share the love of God and help others become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.
